We’ve also noticed an increase in cases where streaming devices become IP-locked by former or foreign providers—often without the customer realizing it. These providers restrict the device so it only works with their service.

If you’ve recently been testing or signing up with multiple providers, please keep this in mind, as it may affect your device’s ability to work properly with our platform.

• IP LOCKED: This is when a Scammer Provider Locked the Customer’s IP Address and MAC ID of the Streaming Device. This causes the Device to ONLY Work with their Services. So when People leave them, and Try other Services out there they do not Work and people go back to them. A very shady tactic use by some Providers in Asian, and Russia.
• HOW I KNOW I AM IP LOPKED: Sign Up for Legit Services that Provide CRYSTAL. GEO, OTT or XTREME Servers. If their Login Information does not work, and you just came from a Different Provider? Then you are most likely are IP Locked. So please be weary.
• HOW TO RESOLVE IP LOCKS: Buying a New Streaming Device which Contains a New MAC ADDRESS. All Devices have it Different. This would make you start fresh, and the device would not be IP Locked.

INTERNET SPEEDS:

• Perform an Internet Speed Test from within your Firestick or Streaming Device. NOT THE COMPUTER! Ask ALEXA for a Free Speed Test App or Install one from Google Play or APPLE Store if you have a different Device and run Speed Test from inside the Device.
• Our Minimum Internet Speed Requirement in 2025-2026 is 50 Mbs of DOWNLOAD and 2 Mbs of UPLOAD.
• Our Recommended Internet Speed is 100+ Mbs DOWNLOAD and 4+ Mbs UPLOAD and Above. Especially to Play 4K Movies.

STREAMING DEVICE HEALTH:

• FIRESTICK USERS: Please Replace Firesticks every 1.5 to 2 Years! They are the Cheapest Possible Recommended Streaming Device in the Market. In 2025 there are many Better Streaming Devices out there like: (FireCUDE MAX, NVIDIA Shield, FORMULER X Boxes, APPLE-TV). Not saying FireSticks are Not Good. But they do Go Bad or Slow Down after 18-24 months. If your Phone that Cost $1,500 Slows Down after 2 Years of Heavy Use, so image a $55.00 Firestick Running for 1 Year? Please keep this in mind when using any Digital TV Services.
• CONSIDER UPGRADING: Upgrade the Streaming Device if you plan to use Services for the Long Run, and Invest in Great Internet. It will still be 10 Times Cheaper than Cable, and you will be Happier as a Customer.
